Unlike thicker builder gels, its thinner consistency is perfect for at-home application, acting not as a replacement but as a complementary product to enhance your nail art routine with added durability for an extended-lasting manicure.
Using Builder Gel XL:
For optimal adherence, Builder Gel XL necessitates a base coat. Our dual-purpose 2in1 Optional Base Coat & Extension Gel Adhesive or a layer of one-step gel polish colour serves as the perfect foundation. The initial coat must be applied thinly to prevent the polish from lifting. Given Builder Gel XL’s design for thin application, we suggest starting with our 2in1 Optional Base Coat & Extension Gel Adhesive OR a layer of One Step Gel Polish colour. Cure Builder Gel XL under our Nail Lamp for 60 seconds to achieve a tacky layer, setting the stage for your One Step Gel polish application.
Follow these steps for application:
- 1 coat of 2in1 Base Coat & Extension Gel Adhesive (or 1 coat of One Step Gel Polish)
- Apply 1-2 THIN coats of Builder Gel XL
- Apply 1-4 coats of One Step Gel colour
Troubleshooting Tips:
Encountering bubbles or peeling soon after your manicure could indicate two potential issues: insufficient nail bed preparation or overly thick application of Gel XL. Despite its inherently thick consistency, Builder Gel XL must be applied in slim layers to ensure it cures thoroughly, providing a solid foundation and smoothing out ridges without compromise.
